Privacy Policy
Current version · 6 October 2026This policy describes how Pharma Gate handles information submitted to the Early Global Network. Pharma Gate is an initiative of the African Healthcare & Drug Association (AHDA).
Information we collect
We collect the organization, business role, sector, market, objective, contact and descriptive information you choose to submit. Required fields support the early-network registration. Optional fields may be left blank.
How we use your information
We use your information to manage registrations, contact applicants, understand trade interests and plan future network capabilities. Optional news updates require a separate choice. We do not automatically publish your submission or label you verified or approved.
Storage and access
Registration records, organization memberships, provider applications and catalogue drafts are stored in the platform database. Organization documents are stored separately and accessed through authorized server routes. Public profiles and listings require consent, provider approval and review; business contact details and confidential documents are not included. Platform administrators can review applications and export data through restricted tools. Hosting providers process data as needed to operate the website; their infrastructure may be located outside your country.
Sharing and future profiles
We do not sell submitted contact information. Hosting and technical service providers may process information to operate the platform. Applicants authorize business-profile publication separately when applying for provider review. Only approved business information is published. Controlled commercial communications and matching are not active in browse-only mode; materially different future uses will be explained before activation.
Retention
We retain information while it is needed for early-network administration and platform development. We review that need and remove information that is no longer necessary, subject to applicable obligations. There is no fixed public retention period announced at this stage.
Your choices and requests
Contact info@ahda-eg.org to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent or to opt out of optional updates. We may need to confirm your identity. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. Rights and obligations depend on applicable law.

Material changes will be explained on this page. Registration records store the policy version and consent time. Contact AHDA for privacy questions.
